Myrtle Beach Area Beaches

Guests of Grand Atlantic Resort enjoy oceanfront and beach views from the comfort of their condo, or balcony. With sixty miles of white, sandy beaches stretching as far as the eye can see, deciding which part of the beach to visit can be a wonderful challenge.

The stretch of beach where Grand Atlantic is located is a unique spot. While the beach features the same sun, surf and white sand that you expect to find along the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach, there is also an unusual outcropping of black rocks nearby.

With Scooby’s restaurants located at Grand Atlantic, and Mako’s Bar and Grill located next door, beach goers can grab a cold drink and make some new friends.

If your goal is to catch the perfect wave and surf, Myrtle Beach offers specific zones during the summer where surfing and ocean kayaking is allowed.

Grand Atlantic guests have selected the ideal location if fishing is part of your beach vacation. The resort is located near the Springmaid Pier.

While the sheer beauty of the Atlantic Ocean and beaches can be enjoyed from your Grand Atlantic oceanfront condo and balcony, guests may want to visit Myrtle Beach State Park. Myrtle Beach State Park is located close to Grand Atlantic and is just a brief drive away. A per person admission fee allows guests to enjoy wide stretches of beaches, hiking trails, picnic shelter, a pier and a Nature Center.
